Boredom Busters: Enrichment on a budget 

Much as we love our dogs, there are times when they drive us up the wall. Boredom Busters offers a solution.   

If we are playing games with our dog, then our dog is not creating mayhem of their own design. Rather, the dog will be happily occupied in whatever we are teaching them. Keeping the dog safely busy allows the whole house to be more peaceful and leaves our un-chewed possessions still in good condition.  Win!! Win!! Win!! 

Boredom Busters teaches you how to play games with your dog using things that you already have around your house. There is no need to buy anything extra in order to have a good time with your dog.  This is a four week enrichment course where you can fully participate with just your dog and their regular dinner.   

I have a pet peeve about trainers demonstrating with trained dogs.  In the Boredom Busters videos I will show you the end result with a trained dog, BUT, I will show you the first steps and the mishaps with a young teenage puppy. Things do not always go according to plan and you will learn the most likely places that things will fall off the rails. 

You are not alone on your journey. You will find links to my Facebook page containing a special Boredom Busters Group. This is where you can safely ask questions, where you can post brag videos about your dog, or where you can just share your story with other people who are going through the course with you. I’ll be on there as much as I can, and when I see struggles happening I’ll pop on with a Facebook Live to give you a boost.

Healing Heeling Paws...

is an established training business, now within a new commercial umbrella. In late 2019 we bought a former industrial warehouse to host our expansion. The new company for all our activities is called Paws on Hubbard Ltd. COVID19 has momentarily shut our doors so our training courses are moving online. When we open the facility again we will offer an enriched doggy daycare (the Playing Paws Academy). We will also have a small retail section (the Paws Pantry) supplying dog food produced right here in Fredericton, NB and a small selection of toys and training equipment in support of our classes.
